What shipped, and when.
Every change that reached the shops quoting with QuoteSooner, dated the day it shipped.

Start free, on your own
Anyone can now create an account with Google, Microsoft or an email link, with no card and no call first. The Free plan covers 5 production RFQs a month for one user, with CAD, starting prices and the buyer’s accept page; quotes go out as your shop via QuoteSooner, and replies come to you. Help setting up is still there if you want it.
- The Shop plan is US$249 a month for everyone in the shop and every request, with sending from your own Gmail or Outlook, your own forwarding address and automatic follow-ups. The first 10 paying shops keep US$199 a month for life. See pricing.
- Practice RFQs never count toward the free allowance, and an RFQ over it is kept until you upgrade or the month resets.
Fewer, clearer checks on the worksheet
Each field that needs your attention now shows as one row, instead of a separate check for every reason it was flagged.
- Sending through Gmail no longer asks to read anything back from your mailbox.
- If a mail server refuses a quote, editing it reopens the draft so you can fix the address and send again.
September 2026
Recognised features, drawn on the model
Holes, pockets and setups found in a STEP or IGES file are now marked on the 3D model. Pick a feature in the worksheet and the viewer shows you where it is.
Starting prices know your limits
Tell QuoteSooner the size of your largest machine and the quantity you stop pricing by rule. A part that doesn’t fit, a quantity above that ceiling, or a finish you have no price for now opens without a starting price, with the reason shown. The estimate is still there if you want to apply it by hand.
- Find a customer by typing their name instead of scrolling a list.
- Start a new quote by dropping files anywhere on the page.
A calmer worksheet
The worksheet, the quote list and the quote page were rebuilt so the drawing, the checks and the prices sit together, part by part, with one-time charges in their own ledger beside the totals.
A starting price from your own rates
When a part arrives with a model and a readable material, QuoteSooner can fill in a starting price from your rates and the part’s geometry, marked as an estimate until you change it. By default it stays off until its estimates have landed within 30% of five quotes you actually sent. You can switch it on or off in your rates.
Sign in with Google or Microsoft
Use the account you already have. An emailed sign-in link still works for any other mail host, and there is no password to remember.
Send quotes from your own Gmail or Outlook
Connect your shop’s mailbox once in Settings. Quotes go out from your own address, a copy lands in your Sent folder and replies come back to you. QuoteSooner asks for permission to send, never to read your inbox. Since October 2 this is part of the Shop plan.
Customer history and orders
Each customer now shows the RFQs they sent and the quotes you won. Turn a won quote into an order with its PO number and promised date, and keep track of it from there.
- The 3D viewer gained edges and section views, so you can cut through a part to see its bores and pockets.
Review and pricing in one place
Checking the part details and pricing them are one flow now, and the send form sits beside the price it sends, so you never send a number you haven’t looked at.
Buyers can answer the quote online
Quotes you send include a link to a page where the buyer can view it and accept it with their PO number, or decline. The answer comes back to the quote, so you know where it stands without chasing.
- Your logo on the quote.
- Quotes expire on their own when their validity runs out.
- An RFQ can mix parts with different quantities and still total correctly.
- Add customers to your customer book by hand, not only from RFQs.
3D models, and the formats shops actually send
STEP and IGES files open in a 3D viewer beside the drawing, with their size and volume measured. STL and 3MF meshes open too. You can also type a unit price for each quantity directly, without building it from operations.
Quote in your own currency
Set your shop’s currency once and every rate, worksheet and quote uses it.
